Project Overview
An environmentally sensitive boardwalk project through a protected wetland area in Malaysia. The project required materials that would minimize environmental impact while providing safe public access.
Challenge: Traditional wood would leach chemicals into the wetland ecosystem. Concrete would be too invasive to install.
Solution: Our WPC decking was the ideal choice - no chemical treatments, fully recyclable, and installed using minimal-impact foundation systems.
Results: 1.2km of boardwalk installed with zero environmental damage. The park authority reports excellent visitor feedback and zero maintenance issues after 18 months.
